Each year, the Grove City Area United Way sponsors a "Stuff the Bus" drive. The purpose of this drive is to obtain new school supplies, including backpacks and lunch boxes, for children in need who reside within the Grove City Area School District community.
Please click here for information and here for an Assistance Request Form. Families must complete the Assistance Request Form to be considered for the program. Supplies are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, so it is helpful to submit requests in a timely manner. Although we want to assist as many families as possible, there may not be enough supplies to meet all of the requests, so PLEASE submit your request as soon as possible.
The distribution process usually takes place the week prior to the first day of school. Families requesting assistance will receive more information after a completed request is received. NOTE: The fact that you submit the request form does not guarantee that we will be able to provide your children with school supplies.
