Day of Caring Project Request Form

The 2024 Grove City Area United Way Day of Caring will be held on:

Saturday, April 20, 2024
9 a.m. - noon
Deadline for registration: Wednesday, March 27, 2024

We would love to send some volunteers to assist you with any projects you may have!  Please read the following instructions & guidelines carefully before completing your request.

• Safety is our number one priority.  Please ensure that proper safety procedures are followed and provide any necessary safety materials (i.e., gloves, goggles).  Volunteers will not be permitted to operate heavy machinery, perform specialized labor projects (i.e., masonry, electrical repair) or work in unsafe areas.
• Organizations may have single or multiple projects at one or more sites.  Please complete separate forms for each project/location.
• Examples of projects include gardening, cleaning, window washing, painting, yard work, office organization, making packets, food drives, etc.
• There will be no scheduled rain date for the Day of Caring, however, you can reschedule at a later date with the assigned team of volunteers, if so desired.  We can help to facilitate this should you want to reschedule due to inclement weather.
• Please remember to PLAN, PREPARE, PROVIDE.  Plan well and inform any relevant family members or staff of the project.  Prepare and provide all the supplies and make sure the site is ready before volunteers arrive.  Provide adequate supervision and/or instruction for the entire 3 hours of service.
• The deadline to register a project is Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
