Invest to Make a Difference in our Community

When you make an undesignated donation to the Grove City Area United Way, your gift joins gifts from other caring people in our community.  It is invested in education, income and health; the basic things that we all need for a good life.

Your gift is treated with care by our fund distribution volunteers. They spend many hours reviewing programs, making site visits, analyzing budgets and determining the success of a program before making a decision on how much that program is awarded through our allocations process. Partner programs meet strict guidelines and must prove to volunteers exactly how they improve lives.

Giving is a personal decision.  United Way will honor donor designations intended for a health and human services nonprofit agency.  United Way receives a 7% administrative fee for processing donor designations. Designations of $10 or more may be directed to a nonprofit agency that meets this criteria:

• 501(c )(3) nonprofit status
• Primary organization mission must focus on health and human services
• Compliance with the U.S. Patriot Act
